Finally...a craft! DIY fancy holiday glass candle holders

This DIY is super simple and super CHEAP! How does it get any better than that?  I found the tutorial on pinterest via this blog, so I can't take credit for it but I can share my version with you!

Supplies:
Tall vase from dollar store
Glass candlestick holder from dollar store
Tall glass enclosed candle from dollar store
Glue gun
Glue sticks
A few bunches of leaves, fake or real

I made two of these, so I have two of everything

Step 1: On the top of your candlestick, squeeze hot glue around the entire lip.  (Ignore my scary looking hot glue gun! That's years of cardboard and fabric build up..ha!)

Step 2: Center your vase on the top of the candlestick and press down good.

I did two of them!

Step 3: Add your white candles and stick some leaves around the candles...you can use leaves, ribbon, beads, glitter...anything!
So for $3 you can have your own large candle holder that is sooo pretty for the holidays! What a great table topper for Thanksgiving or Christmas or a great addition to a mantle.  I am so excited to use mine!

A Belly Thanksgiving!!!

To make up for my lack of posting, I am going to make this post super huge!!! Here goes:

My brother. My sister is missing from these pics because she is on the CD of pictures that I am too lazy to go upload right now!

My mom and I on Thanksgiving.

Every year, after we eat, this is how you will find my dad. Every year!

Our baby shower!!!

My mom made soaps with baby things inside. They were so cute. Cameron said that the soap was for giving the baby a shower. How funny is that? She took baby shower literally!

My mom even decorated the bathroom!!!

Cammy helped me open all of my presents. This one is my boy baby doll from when I was little. My mom found it and wrapped it up for me to open. Cammy calls this, "The baby with the hoo hoo." hahahaha

Go Virginia Tech! He is going to look so cute in this!!!

The beautiful table of delicious food that I couldn't stop eating!!!

Me and my mom (and Cammy) at the shower.

My mom made this picture of Seth and I from when we were babies to put out at the shower. And I took it home with me!!!

We got in to my family's house at 1:45am the night before the shower. Right after the shower, we were so tired but we really wanted to see Seth's sister before she left the next morning, so we rushed out straight from the shower to meet up with Hannah and two of Seth's closest friends.

My mom made this sign for our shower. Cute huh?

My mom did two photoshoots of Seth and I. I am so glad she did, because going to get them taken somewhere are way too expensive! Plus, she did a great job. These are two that she took with my camera. I have the CD's that she made for me from her camera, but I am going to save those for another post!
