I can't figure out. . .

Where in the world this year went!!! Oh my word! I just stopped writing 2007 on everything and now I am going to have to switch to 2009. This year has gone way way way too fast. But this year will be such a new one for us. We have barely gotten used to being married and being new to the army, and now we will be adding a new family member in 6 weeks! 6 WEEKS??? AHHHHHH!!! Now I am really freaking out. It is so scary how fast this pregnancy has gone. I am trying to figure out if I really want him to come out of my belly or not. I love having him in there, kicking and punching me. I love going to my doctors appt's and hearing his heartbeat and I love that Seth and I can still go to the movies without getting a baby sitter! But really, I can't wait till he gets here. I have managed to dodge stretch marks on my stomach so far, so hopefully that will stay as it is! My back limits me in just about every area, so it will be nice to be able to walk around and get up and down without bracing myself for the pain. It will also be nice to go to the doctor and not have her tell me I gained another 6 pounds in 2 weeks. I think what I am most looking forward to though is seeing what he looks like! It is driving me crazy! I am so curious. Will he look like Seth, or me? I believe it will be pretty obvious who he looks like though, because the only thing Seth and I have in common is our brown hair. I can pretty much guarantee that Baby Wade will be a brunette, now I just have to figure out if he will have freckles and blue eyes, or olive skin and brown eyes. I am hoping he gets olive skin with blue eyes! I guess in about 6 weeks we will know (although we will have to wait a little longer for the eyes to change colors!)

Anyways, that is our big 2009 plans! Two of Seth's good friends are coming in tonight from back home, so I need to get off of this computer and fold this laundry. I only wish they were married so I could have someone to play with too, haha. I hope you guys have plans just as exciting to look forward to and I also hope that your New Years is amazing. And, hey, this year, dont fall asleep!!!

I loved when I would ring in the New Year (at 9pm cause I'm tired) and think about how a new Babe would be here soon. So exciting and scarey all rolled into one!

Hello fellow Army wife! I linked over to you from Robin's blog. Just nosing around and seeing what other military wives are up to in the new year! HA! Like you, I can't get over how fast 08 sped by and now we're starting all over! Congratulations on your soon approaching baby birthdate... whoa.. I remember, those feelings of anxiousness. It's the most amazing thing to gaze into your newborn's face for the first time. Just, unexplainable. I'll be saying prayers for you and a textbook delivery, girl. Are you delivering in a military hospital? We had excellent care when both our boys were born in military hospitals. One in Texas and the other in Washington. Superb experiences, both times.

Blessings to you!!
