thirty.four. thirty.six.

34 weeks

Today, at 36 weeks

It's hard to believe I am less than a week away from being "full term"...which means I could give birth to a healthy baby very soon!  Chances are, I will be overdue by a week like I was with Caleb but I have high hopes of going into labor on my own and slightly before my due date :)
 I hope my hope's aren't dashed!

For now, I am going to focus on spending time with my husband, my sweet little man and enjoying feeling these kicks and hiccups while I can.

I really do enjoy being pregnant but I just can't help but be anxious when I am folding teeny, adorable baby clothes.
I can't help but wonder, "Boy or Girl?" "What will this baby look like?" "What will Caleb's first reaction be?" and on and on and on...

My world is about to be rocked in about 4 weeks...until then, I am going to soak up every second of my life just the way it is now so that I can forever have the memories of being a family of 3 stored in my mind and heart!

twenty.nine.thirty

29 weeks

 30 weeks

Caleb wanted in on the action...silly as usual
Today I am 31 weeks!!!
Where is this time going?
Caleb "helped" me hang the curtains in the nursery.
I also managed to make a big chalkboard art piece and I found a cute crib sheet on clearance at Target for $3.50!
We still have to pull all the baby stuff from the attic.  I'm getting nervous that we aren't going to get everything done in time, especially since time seems to be passing super quickly.
We also decided to throw Caleb a little birthday party next weekend.
He is turning THREE!
Between planning that party, keeping up with my Etsy shop, and getting all this baby stuff together, I am one busy lady...but having fun doing all of it :)

Yesterday, we went to visit Seth at work.
Caleb insisted on finding *everything* he owned that was remotely "soldier-y" to wear to see his daddy.  He wanted to be an Army man.
He wore his Patton helmet everywhere around base and we got quite a few laughs...it was pretty daggone cute.

And this is exactly why Caleb loves going to see his daddy at work.
Lot's of guy stuff everywhere.
 He is 100% BOY!

Let me tell you a funny Caleb story.
Last night, Caleb came up to Seth and said he needed to show Mommy something.
I was in the bath tub so Seth asked him, "What do you need to show her?" Caleb hands Seth a book that he has in his hand.  Seth takes the closed book and notices that it has some extra bulk to it.  He opens it up...and finds a pair of Caleb's underwear in between two pages.  All the while Caleb is cracking himself up and yelling, "It's underwears in there!!!"
That kid.
I am pretty sure I have a class clown on my hands.

Have you entered the Valentine Day Giveaway yet???
If you haven't, you have until Valentine's Day to enter to win over $100 worth of great prizes!!!

Happy Weekend!!!

19

How far along? 19 weeks
Maternity Clothes? YES! Since week 10. I stopped in at a huge consignment sale yesterday and grabbed a few great maternity clothes, including $40 pajamas I have been eyeing at Motherhood except I only paid $5!
Stretch Marks? Not yet...I'm hoping the few I got from Caleb will be the only ones I'll have...I gained a lot of weight with him, so that can't hurt this time around, right???
Weight Gain? Oh the dreaded question...15 pounds...woops!
Sleep: Unlike the first trimester, I seem not to require much these days.  I usually get about 6-7 hours.
Best moment this week: Caleb coming over to me, laying his hand on my belly, rubbing it and then leaning down and kissing it...totally out of the blue! Melted my heart!
Miss anything? Yes...my second & third cup of coffee!
Movement: This little one is sooo much more active than Caleb ever was!  The little kicks are so hard sometimes that it tickles really bad.  Seth and Caleb have already been able to feel the kicking too.
Cravings?  Still salty things! Hot dogs, chicken, buffalo dip.  I also have been craving fruit too...especially apples.
Anything make you queasy or sick? If I wait too long between meals/snacks.  Otherwise, as of 2 weeks ago, my nausea for no reason has left the building!
Gender? Well, the ultrasound tech knows, but we are keeping it a BIG SURPRISE!
Labor Signs: No...thank goodness
Symptoms:  I still burp a lot, not as much as I did 1st trimester, but it's still a lot.  I also have sciatic nerve pain on my right side...sometimes it makes me limp!
Belly button in or out? Still in! I have a major inny so it never popped out with Caleb, just kind of leveled out.
Wedding rings on or off? My bands are off but my ring is on.  I waited way too long to take my bands off with Caleb and I almost had to cut them off so I took preventative measures this time and just went ahead and took them off a few weeks ago.
Happy or Moody? This week I have been extremely moody! Before this week I would've said HAPPY but this week I haven't gotten a ton of sleep.
Looking forward to:  Visiting our family in Virginia for Thanksgiving and feeding this baby some turkey, mashed potatoes and chocolate pie!!!

I want to show yall some of the maternity things I got yesterday!

These pajamas for $5

This Liz Lange Ruched T...a purple and a red for $2 a piece!

This Gap white tshirt for $3!

And I got a really cute black and white colorblock tunic too for $3.
I'm not too good for second hand...in fact, I'd say I'm slightly addicted to getting good things second hand!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We all have so much to be thankful for.

twelve

We are twelve weeks along!

It's so fun to have my little buddy with me this time around to help keep up with how many weeks we are.
I will have to say, I'm not sure how I am already 12 weeks.
This pregnancy is sure going a lot faster than my pregnancy with Caleb.  Caleb keeps me busy so I guess that's where the time is going!

My nausea went away last week and I felt like a new woman...unfortunately it showed back up yesterday morning but it's not nearly as bad as it was so I won't complain.

I'm showing so much faster with this little one!  Everything is so exciting though, even pulling out my maternity clothes again.  Caleb keeps kissing my belly too...it melts my heart.

Ruby Red

How I love you Ruby Red.  I like you fresh or in the can but I prefer the can because I can eat you anywhere!  In the car or in the bed.  Your bitter sweetness calls my name!

I spilled you on me

Did I mention I ate two of these....for breakfast?  It was wonderful.

Oh little one in my belly, you are determining my every move right now.  Is this a sign of what's to come?  I heard your heartbeat today, it was fast!  You must be working hard to take in some of these calories I've been eating for us ;-)
