I am in a little dilema for my hall/guest/Caleb's bathroom. I can't decide whether to make it a guest-ish bathroom with a pretty shower curtain, or a kid-ish bathroom for Caleb.
I have found a few really cute shower curtains...so will you help me decide which one I should get for the bathroom?
4. Or one very similiar to this striped one (except the blue is a little lighter) that I found second hand:
What do you think???
1,2,3 or 4?

I don't know why but I've never been into the kid themed bathroom. I like the last one you said you found second hand! It is still boyish and there's so many ways you can go with it! Like a nautical theme!
IMHO, i'd make it into a bathroom themed for your little guy. after all, it's something he lives with every day and a guest only occasionally.
As it is a guest bathroom, as well as Caleb's bathroom, I'd say go with something non-kiddish. My vote is for the last shower curtain. I like the simplicity of it gives you many decorating options. I could see a beach theme working well with it. It seems like coral and sea shells are all the rage right now.
At our apartment we have a guest bathroom/daughter's bathroom and since guests use it, I have it decorated as a guest bathroom. We are in the process of buying a home with 3 full bathrooms, and while the downstairs bathroom will definitely be decorated for guests, I am still having a hard time deciding if the hall bathroom upstairs should be a 'kid' bathroom or not. It will ultimately be her bathroom, but since it is in the hall, I am still having a hard time decorating it in a 'theme'. I love the 3rd shower curtain and was thinking about using it for our bathroom as well, although the 4th one has similar colors and is more simple, so you might want to go with that.
I had the EXACT situation this week. I even looked at the first two curtains from Target. I chose to go guest bathroom with it, and choose a classic waffle weave curtain with everything white. I figured I would get tired of the patterned ones after a while. I like the last one best (it has so many possibilities).
I love the first one! It's too cute.
I agree with the comment that it is primarily Caleb's bathroom so it should be themed for him. However, speaking from a lady WITH a kids bathroom theme..., I would not do it again. I would absolutely choose option 4. You can really "kid it up" for Caleb but it will still look good for guests AND it is easy to find decor to match.
i like #4. it's not too kiddish, yet it's boyish enough for you to integrate something he would like, like boats (nautical).
I actually really love the first one, a LOT.
But, since you want him to "grow" with the bathroom and use it for guests also, the 4th one is a very close second!
I love kid bathroom stuff because I think it's adorable but I can never decide if it's the kind of thing I'd want to have in a bathroom that other people use too. I say go with shower curtain 4, because that will be the most prominent feature of the room. Maybe blue towels too, if you don't already have those. But then go wild with toothbrush holders, hand towels etc. Those can totally be kiddy, making the bathroom both cute and somewhat sophisticated.
I really love the bird print from Target. I feel like it gives Caleb a bit of fun wildlife print and keeps it guest bathroom friendly :-) You could always make it fun with products and toys he loves for bath time that can store away for guests.
Mommy and Me Giveaways sent me!
Go with the last one. You can make it boyish for everyday use and when guest come, more guest like. Good luck!
your sweet little boy will be using it everyday so make it in a theme he would love! i'm visiting from mommy loves giveaways blog
