My inner decorator is coming out full force today. Caleb and I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday and I grabbed a few books to look at while he played with the choo choo's. One of which was Domino: The Book of Decorating. Oh. My. Word. If you haven't ever looked at that book and you are interested in any sort of home decorating, you should run, not walk, to your nearest bookstore and look through it. It is packed full of beautiful decorating ideas. At some point in the next year, Caleb will be moving out of his crib into a big boy bed. I am really excited about transforming the current guest room into a room that is perfect for him and this book has given me a million ideas. They cover every room in the house and more. They give you ideas on how you can arrange your furniture, how big of a TV you should have depending on the size of your living room...etc. It's a great book even for those of you who don't feel like you know how to decorate too because it teaches you how! Have I said enough about this book yet??? Okay, I'm done. I will just leave you with a little taste of Domino design.

MMMM love!
I absolutely love Domino! I use to get the magazine until they stopped publishing it :(
They have amazing ideas!
I found your blog through your comment on Miss Nebraska's blog (I went out on a limb to congratulate her on her blogsite and checked back to see if she approved my comment).
As I scrolled through some of your most recent blogposts (your son is ADORABLE! by the way) - I read your post about the John 3:16 verse you put on the bottom of your products. It sounds like you handled it so perfectly - and the comment your husband gave to you and your immediate response sound identical to what would happen here in my home!
It crossed my mind, and maybe somebody already commented this to you (I didn't read the comments) - but even "In and Out Burger" makes a point of professing their faith by putting verses on the wrappers of their products (fries, burgers, etc...) (Sadly, I don't have a lot of firsthand knowledge of this as we don't have a yummy In and Out Burger here in Oregon, but when in California....oh yummm!) It would make me wonder if this woman would refuse to eat the products at this restaurant or even go to it - much less demand a product given to her in a different "wrapper" because the verses would "offend". I just thought I'd throw this comparison out to you in an effort to encourage you.
I'm just beginning a new book with the young women in my Bible Study group called "What Happens When Women Say Yes to God" - and I think I just might use your story as an example to the ladies. Way to say "Yes" to the Lord, even when it means a cost to your reputation....!
Blessings to you and your family!!
