First of all, my cousin Noelle (as pictured below) will be on America's Funniest Videos this Sunday!!! I am so excited. If you watch it, she is the one who does a flip on her bed and her buttox makes a huge hole in the wall :)
Now, onto my house :)
I don't have entire rooms finished yet, but I thought I would give a sneak peak at some of the things I have been up to lately.
This is my Goodwill find for $4. It is hanging on my newly painted, blue living room wall.
Another Goodwill find, for $.50! I spray painted it with a few good coats of plum Krylon gloss.
$1.00 thrift store corner shelf, spray painted Bahama breeze Krylon gloss. Vintage milk glass sits on the shelves. This is also in my living room.
I used the same paint to refinish some vintage wooden candle holders.
We don't have room for bookshelves in Calebs room so I turned the top of his dresser into a shelf by using piggy banks for book ends.
My hallway has pictures hung in a straight line. A little more difficult to do than hanging them randomly, but I think it gives it a clean look.
This is my favorite! I found a shutter for $1.00 and spraypainted it, then added a fancy stencil. I hung it over our bed in our grey bedroom :)
Hopefully, I can show you entire rooms soon. I am working on pillows for my living room right now. I have way too much fun doing this kind of stuff!
I hope you all have a happy weekend!!!

You are so crafty! I missed that gene entirely, somehow! I love the pictures in your hallway. I think I'll try that next time we have a hallway :)
you are so talented. i love everything you did!
Beautiful! I LOVE the shutter idea! We have a few old ones in our garage that I could fix up real easy. Great ideas :)
