Now that we are finally going to be somewhere for at least a year, I am saving up my money for two things: a sewing machine and a heavy duty mixer. I just got a job (thank you Jesus) subsituting at a pre-school and kindergarten and put my application in at other schools, so I will have my own money to save up. Since I already know the exact sewing machine I want, I need your help with which mixer I want. I like all of these and I can't decide! It will take quite a few more months to save up, but it is well worth it. My mom has this great mixer in grey and there is nothing that compares to making cakes and cookies in one of these mixers. They are all the same mixer, they just come in way too many colors! Help me. The voting poll is to the right and I have listed the colors above the pictures.
red
majestic yellow
ice blue
pistachio
chrome
persimmon
green apple

Congrats on the new job! That's awesome you found one so quickly!
My vote is for chrome because while the other colors are cool and fun, chrome would match almost anything...and you know the Army will be moving you to many places with a who-knows-what-color kitchen!!! But all the colors are great! Let us know what you decide!
Congrats on the job!
I like the red or chrome one (I was given a white one and I don't recommend it).
As for the sewing machine, if it's one that Hancock Fabrics sales, have you signed up for their mailings? They give % off coupons about once a month.
Where in the world is the PINK for this poll? I just don't get it! If you lived here you could have either my black or white one. Yes, I have two, count them two KitchenAid mixers. Amazing, those two are worth more than minivan. HA HA
For myself, I'd like the red, but I don't know... the light blue, and the more retro looking persimmon and green apple seem more "Kat" to me. I've got to think on it for a day or so!
I, too, have a white one. It's a little dull, but the splashes of color in my kitchen come from elsewhere, and I like that it matches my white appliances. Anyway, I wanted to give you this important piece of advice about your KitchenAid mixer: don't use it to make brownie mix! It took me a year to figure out that my brownies were coming out without that delicious crinkled top because of the mixer. So keep a hand-held one in your kitchen for this reason! :) (The KitchenAid is awesome for everything else, though.)
