I am drooling and I love pineapple. . .

fresh that is. I dont know how many of you eat pineapple, but there just isn't anything that compares to that expensive fresh pineapple over in the hoidy toidy fruit section at Wal-mart. I get the big bowl of fresh chunks and I bring it home and eat it all in one sitting. I try to break it down into at least two snack times, but once I start eating that pineapple, I just can't stop! I have also gone through almost an entire bag of oranges since Saturday. Winter time is orange season. Seth was surprised to find that out, I know because every year my grandparents would buy a huge box of oranges for us to eat. My mom would stick cloves in them at Christmas time to make the house smell good or simmer the peel with a cinnamon stick on the stove. I actually have some orange peels and cinnamon on my stove right now, although there is still a few weeks till fall! I just love the smell. Okay, and speaking of fruit. It seems like one of those edible arrangements commercials comes on all the time. The ones with the gorgeous fruit arrangements and then they say that you can even get them dipped in chocolate, while they show in slow motion a delicious strawberry being dunked into a huge bowl of melted chocolate, and then I wipe the drool off my face. Yum! I want to go get one just to eat it, for no special occasion. Couldn't my birthday be today???

Fruit tip- Next time you make fresh fruit salad, add some fresh mint to it. It gives the fruit an indescribable flavor! My aunt gave me a bridal brunch last summer and made fresh fruit with mint. I wanted to eat the entire bowl!!!

I am the same with pineapple, but ONLY fresh. I prefer it in the tropics. On a cruise I asked for pineapple instead of soup, appetier, salad and dessert!!!! They had it down to a science by the second meal and just brought pineapple and the main course. Pineapple heaven!!!
