Love the Look

I don't know what's wrong with me but I am really loving white, neutral rooms! I still love color, believe you me, so maybe it's the nice spring time weather that makes me want bright whites and neutrals...I really don't know. This is not all that practical for a household with a 2 year old but I can still look.  Right now I have my heart set on getting a sisal rug when we move.  The only problem is that I need a rug that LOOKS like sisal but is softer on the feet since it will be in our living room area.  If you have ever walked bare foot over a sisal rug, you know what I am talking about! Here are some of my favorite sisal rug looks:

Happy Thursday!
We are taking Caleb to see Toy Story on ICE tonight! I am hoping he will like it and not be terrified...I will let you know the outcome.

Oh Captain! My Captain!

Thursday was a beautiful day for Seth's promotion ceremony.  One of my favorite parts of the Army are all of their traditions and ceremonies.  My job was to rip off his lieutenant patch, throw it as hard as I could, put the new Captain patch on and then punch him...how lady like does all that seem???  Not very, but it was tradition and fun and I am so proud of Seth for making the promotion list early :)  Caleb also had fun looking at all the tanks and picking up rocks...haha...what more can I expect from a 2 year old at a military ceremony?

Picture Overload

We traveled north to Virginia for Easter.  It was a short trip, but we had so much fun! Caleb got to see all his great grandparents and his KK (my mom) and Cack Cack (my dad).  He was spoiled by his aunts and uncles and got 2 Easter baskets! He also got to do an Easter egg hunt with his Cammy...but he quickly learned that it's not easy keeping up with a 6 year old on an Easter egg hunt!  Here are a few of the many pictures that were taken:
